Michelle Mason is a seasoned hospitality leader who believes the best events feel effortless for the people who matter most: attendees and hosts. As the Franchise Owner & Operator of EventPrep, based in Phoenix, AZ, Michelle partners with associations, corporate teams, and nonprofits to design and deliver meetings around the world that run on time, on budget, and with an eye for the small details that create big memories.

Before EventPrep, Michelle built a 25+ year track record across the industry with leadership roles with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Best Western International – corporate headquarters, HelmsBriscoe – corporate headquarters, and several years as a business consultant focused on people, processes, and systems. Those chapters sharpened her instincts in negotiations, multi-property coordination, technology, and guest experience – earning awards for performance and satisfaction and, more importantly, repeat business from happy clients.

At EventPrep, Michelle’s approach is simple: listen with intention, plan clearly, communicate early, and deliver seamlessly. From venue sourcing and enterprise-level contract negotiations to registration, housing, and on-site execution, she delivers seamless execution and measurable savings -so clients enjoy their events. Colleagues describe her as steady, kind, and calm under pressure; clients say she makes complex work feel simple and even fun!
Michelle earned her B.S. in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University and serves on NAU’s HRM Advisory Board, mentoring students and advising faculty on real-world trends in meetings and hospitality. She remains active in the community and continues to nurture the next generation of service-minded leaders.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys time with her family, a proud mom to two sons – one a recent college grad and aerospace engineer, and one still in college working on a master’s degree in engineering. Michelle is an avid and enthusiastic traveler who still believes in the magic of a well-timed site visit. When she is not traveling to faraway places or cultivating the next flawless event, she is frequently accompanied by Cocoa and Cooper, her four-legged coworkers who think every Zoom is about them.
