Me’Shae Rolling of Syracuse, NY made history as the first EventPrep® franchisee in New York State and the northeastern U.S. Me’Shae has been in the Special Events, Hospitality and Conference industry for 25 years. She earned a Certificate in Meeting & Conference Management from the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Travel Administration at New York University; and has a master of public administration degree from Syracuse University.
Prior to becoming an EventPrep Franchise Owner/Operator, Me’Shae’s career highlights include Senior Special Events Coordinator with the New York City Office of the Mayor; Hospitality ministry at The Brooklyn Tabernacle mega-church; and Director of Special Events & Conferences with the Institute for Veterans & Military Families at Syracuse University.
Me’Shae has held the designation of CSEP, or Certified Special Events Professional conferred by the International Lives Events Association (formerly International Special Events Society) and is MWBE-Certified in New York State.
She is a member of the Greater Syracuse Hospitality & Tourism Association and serves on governance boards advancing inclusive entrepreneurship in the Central New York region. Me’Shae is the co-recipient of EventPrep’s 2019 New Customer Acquisition award.
Fun facts: Me’Shae’s twin passion besides event planning is teaching financial literacy education. She is married to James Haywood Rolling, Jr., who is a professor and scholar in the field of art education. Me’Shae and her team look forward to providing a superior customer experience, whether servicing meetings and conferences for ten, 100, or 1,000 attendees.
