Alison became an EventPrep Franchise Owner in 2017. Prior to joining EventPrep, she was a three-time President’s Club award recipient for HelmsBriscoe, a meeting procurement and site selection company. Alison has more than 25 years in the hospitality industry with various leadership roles including Director of Catering, Director of Group Sales, and Director of Sales & Marketing for brand leaders at several luxury hotels in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She enjoys working collaboratively with her clients and thrives on the challenge of finding their ideal event locations. With knowledge in all market segments – government, association, corporate, and social – Alison is experienced in finding the perfect venue for any event, any size. When one of Alison’s groups was forced out of their meeting location one week prior to their event, Alison quickly placed them at a new property. The group was so happy with the end result, they continue to meet there year after year.
Alison graduated with a business degree from Stevenson University in Baltimore, MD with a travel and tourism degree. When she’s not working, Alison enjoys spending time with her family and watching her sons play basketball and baseball. Her family loves RV’ing and boating at Douglas Lake in Tennessee and the Florida Keys. She resides in Woodbine, MD with her husband, two boys, and two very large dogs.
